How to install Canfy on your Shopify store, convert a Canva site into Shopify pages, and keep them in sync.

Everything you need to get a Canva design live as a real Shopify page.

Install Canfy

  1. Open the Canfy listing on the Shopify App Store and click Add app.
  2. Review the permissions Canfy requests and approve the install.
  3. Canfy now appears under Apps in your Shopify admin.

Convert your first page

  1. In Canva, publish your site and copy the public URL (it looks like https://yourname.my.canva.site/your-design).
  2. In Canfy, click New page and paste the URL.
  3. Click Convert now. Conversion typically takes under two minutes.
  4. Canfy creates a Shopify page, uploads your images and fonts to its CDN (cdn.canfy.app), and links the page in your admin.

Your design ships pixel-perfect and mobile-responsive — no code, no rebuilding.

Keep a page in sync

Edit the design in Canva, republish it, then open the page in Canfy and click Update. Canfy re-reads the Canva layout and replaces the page content in place, so the Shopify URL and any links pointing at it stay valid.

Canfy-managed pages are ordinary Shopify pages, so nothing stops you opening one in the Shopify editor — but anything you change there is replaced on the next sync. Make changes in Canva instead, or use the Custom CSS box in Canfy for tweaks that should survive a re-import.

Themes and other apps

Canfy works with any Shopify theme, including Dawn and every Online Store 2.0 theme. Converted pages are self-contained HTML and CSS, so they don’t depend on your theme’s section library and don’t interfere with your other apps.

Troubleshooting

The Canva URL isn’t accepted. Make sure the design is published as a website in Canva and the link is set to public. Draft and view-only links can’t be read.

Fonts look different. Canva’s premium fonts are licensed for use inside Canva. Where a font can’t be redistributed, Canfy substitutes the closest available web font and keeps the metrics so the layout doesn’t shift.

Images are missing. Re-run the conversion. Canfy downloads every asset from Canva and uploads it to its CDN during conversion, and a slow Canva response can occasionally leave one behind.
